Notes in German by an unidentified author, originally accompanying, and evidently making direct reference to a codex in Latin of a text by Hermann von Kerssenbroch entitled Furoris Anabaptistici Monasterium inclytam Westphaliae metropolim evertentis historica narratio (Ms. Codex 1208). Kerssenbroch's text is a history of the Anabaptist presence in Mùˆnster during the early 16th century, including a history and description of Mùˆnster. The present notes appear to be in the same hand as the manuscript to which they refer. Brief references to content, mostly historical developments, are punctuated with folio numbers that range throughout the volume (from 2 to 352), so that the notes amount to a rough table of contents in rubrics, although some references are clustered according to topic rather than sequence of folios. The notes seem intended solely as a reminder of Kerssenbroch's narrative, and do not appear to interject any commentary, or cite any other sources.
